Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Emily Groce and as a senior at Wofford College, I have had the privilege of participating in The Space to Impact Program over the last 4 years. The Impact Program allows students to design and implement their own projects both in the Wofford and Spartanburg communities. My focus over the last four years has been to promote wellness and healthy living to students of all ages.

For my senior project, I am thrilled to work with the Boosterthon Company and Fairforest Elementary School to begin an exciting and engaging tradition in the Fairforest community. Boosterthon is an established company that is very experienced in assisting schools with fundraising and building character in children. My goal is not to alter Boosterthon's model but to enhance Fairforest's experience by providing Wofford volunteers and project management.

I am committed to showing students how healthy lifestyle choices and positive character can lead to a full and long life. Boosterthon is making a step in the right direction. This is an exciting time for our students and school and we need all the help we can get! There are no small parts, any contribution you can make is so greatly appreciated. Do it for your child, your community, your school, or yourself. It is up to US to make the difference. So, parents, teachers, students, volunteers-

Let's RUN with it!
